Helping entrepreneurs use marketing to build their business is my passion.

Hearing what excites them about what they do excites me! I love asking questions to get to know people. Here are my answers to some questions so you can get to know me.

Where were you born?

In Los Angeles. I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life. I’m the rare native in these parts.

One sister. We were born 18 months apart to the day. I’m the oldest. I was always the chatty one.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A spy and a writer. “Harriet the Spy” by Louise Fitzhugh was my favorite book.

Yes. To the sweetest man and absolutely my better half. Ken is a music producer and my personal sound engineer. He makes music. I talk.

Why do you do what you do?

I hate seeing entrepreneurs struggle with how to connect with customers who want and need their products and services. Nothing is more satisfying than helping them frame their story, connect with customers and grow their business.

What was your most unusual job?

When I was in college, I sold water heaters. If your water heater is making grinding sounds, it’s time to replace it.

Is there a moment in your career that stands out?

Early in my career, I spent a day with civil rights icon Rosa Parks. I was her escort during her visit to the company I worked for. Incredible experience.

What’s something that might surprise people to know about you?

I once jumped off the top of a telephone pole. No, really, I did!

What’s the best advice your mother ever gave you?

If you put things back where they belong, you won’t ever have to worry about them getting lost.

Favorite color?

Green. But I rarely wear it.

Go-to junk food?

Pizza. Cheese on bread is one of God’s perfect food combinations.

Favorite sport?

Baseball. I’m a die-hard Dodger fan. I love all sports, though. Every game is a story in itself and I love a good story.

The mountains or the beach?

Vanilla or chocolate?

Chocolate. Except on fruit. Never on fruit.

Early riser or night owl?

Early riser. I’m out by 10 p.m. nightly.
